How it works
- 1Drop your PDF — it stays on your device, nothing uploads to a server.
- 2We compress toward the CNSS target of 1 MB, targeting embedded images first to keep text sharp.
- 3Download the compressed file and confirm it opens correctly before submitting to CNSS.
Frequently asked questions
- Will my PDF definitely be accepted by CNSS?
- We can't guarantee it — 1 MB is a sensible default target, not an officially verified rule for CNSS. Requirements change, so always confirm the exact current limit on CNSS's own site before submitting.
- Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
- No. All compression happens in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
- Will compressing to 1 MB affect quality or readability?
- We target the embedded images inside the PDF first, keeping the text layer sharp. At 1 MB most multi-page documents stay clearly readable.
- Is this free to use?
- Yes — no account, no watermark, no limit on the number of files.
